Some helpful tips to consider before you leave for the shoot

Clothing:
* Wear one of the outfits to the session in order to save you time.
* Bring outfits in the colors you feel you look the best in.
* White or pastel colors are best for lighter backgrounds.
* Middle tones or deep solid colors are ideal for formal portraits.
* Avoid large prints or patterns that distract from your face.
* Choose long sleeved shirts and sweaters over short sleeved.
* Remember to match your shoes to your outfits.

Hair:
Plan to wear your hair in a style you're comfortable with.
Avoid new haircuts or styles just before your session.
If you do get a haircut allow one or two weeks before your session.

Glasses:
If you wear glasses, wear them for your portrait session. To eliminate eyeglass glare in your portraits ask
your optician to remove your lenses before the session. You can also ask your optician if you can borrow a
pair of empty frames like the ones you have.

Girls:
Keep your make-up simple, natural and fresh.
If you have blemishes you want to cover up, stand a few feet from your mirror and
apply make-up. If you do not see them they will not be seen in your photographs.

Guys:
Make sure you are freshly shaved.
If you have a beard or mustache make sure it is neatly trimmed.
